FAQ

What is House of Bread’s relation to Israel?
Psalm 122:6 says: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper that love thee” Look again at the promise in the scripture. Those nations and people that show love and kindness towards Israel, will be blessed by God. House of Bread wants to be blessed, therefore we bless and pray for Israel. It was through the nation of Israel and the early disciples/apostles of Christ that we received the message of salvation and inheritance in Jesus Christ. The Lord also commanded us to love people and one another. That includes Israel.

Why all the Jewish elements in the house?
We are believers and followers of Jesus Christ the Messiah and understand the new covenant relationship we have with our heavenly Father through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ through the power His Spirit, the Ruah Ha Kodesh.

We value the origin and roots of our faith and appreciate the shadow types in the Old Testament and fulfillment of those shadow types in Jesus Christ. That being the reason also for using English and Hebrew terms interactively. We believe the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.

What is our goal at House of Bread?

  • To prepare the body of Christ as a Bride for Christ at His coming through discipleship
to sound the alarm and be a prophetic voive in these last days calling believers out of spiritual Babylon
  • To serve the community of Bloemfontein
  • To break down dividing walls between believers and churches, realizing there is only ONE CHURCH and ONE BODY in a city with ONE HEAD which is the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua our Messiah
  • To reach out to the lost in our city with the gospel of the kingdom and to model this message through our daily lives

Are we profit driven?
NO! We are a non-profit ministry. After all our running expenses are paid, any profit goes to different kingdom ministries in our city and where ever the Holy Spirit may direct. House of Bread is an ongoing first fruit offering unto the Lord and the kingdom of Yeshua. Information regarding the different beneficiaries are available

Which days are we open?

Monday to Friday: 08h00 to late
Closed on Saturdays
Sunday: 08h00 to 13h00

Do you need any help and contributors?

We are not shy to say YES! Someone once said these true words: “ There are only two types of people in this world – the contributors and the complainers”. You are either a builder or a breaker. The need is so great out there and many people in our city are suffering on a daily basis, both spiritually, without Christ the Messiah, as well as emotionally and physically. We cannot fulfill this calling and mandate alone. We need all the kingdom BUILDERS to assist!
